Very poor argument. This is in no way helping sellers that overprice their items - if they want too much they just won't sell!
It doesn't matter if they WTS for 2,000k pure cash or 100k+500ectos or 100k+450zkeys or 100k+1,600lockpicks or whatever else currency, everything is up to the buyers.
In fact it would make it EASIER for the BUYERS, because they wouldn't need to buy any other items needed just to complete a trade.

Though it may be incredibly hard for you to comprehend, there are people that buy things from other players. Not everyone buys everything from a merchant.

So the item suggested here would be for free?

No, that means that they don't have to be spamming WTB zkeys/ecto/lockpicks at a price that is cheaper than most seller's price, just to buy that 100+XX item.

Would this not make it very easy for GOLD TRADERS?

This idea was already purposed and I think there should be a cap in the amount you can own. I somethings can get VERY overcharged if an unlimited supply can be bought, like selling minis worth 100e+ can be very bad since they may be able to rise to 5000 tokens and such... its just not fair...

Yeah, but every trade you make is monitored by Anet, so if they can't detect gold traders now, they never will be able to.

Although it seems they can detect SOME gold trades, as I received a 72 hour ban a few months ago for helping a friend transfer stuff between accounts, and I got an e-mail saying I was banned for buying gold online, when I explained the situation, they unbanned me.

ANET just needs to realize that they can not impose a price limit on anything, period. The trade limit was/is/will remain stupid and in the end just caused more grief for some players. If enough people want something the price is going to rise and no mater what the trade limit. Supply and Demand will always determine the price.

Hm, not a bad idea but if they would implement this, why not just remove the 100k cap at all?
